| The Majlis of Imaam Husain (as) is the Elaahi Da'wat of Jannat for us. O mumineen, “Bow down and prostrate to this Noor and Aayat of Allaah.” O mumineen, Majlis of Imaam Husain (as) is the “heart” of all the Majlis. Just as the life is sustained by the beating of the heart which in turn gives the warmth, the memories of Karbalaa gives warmth and life to our Imaan. Just as the sunlight acts as a disinfectant and removes all impurities and contamination, the warmth of the zikr of Imaam Husain (as) removes all the evil and wickedness from our heart. Just as the heat is necessary for the gold to mould it into beautiful jewelry, the warmth of Azaadari and Maatam of Imaam Husain (as) moulds us into the priceless jewels and gemstones of a true Mumin and gives us Hayaat-e-Taiyebah. He who has not shed tears on Imaam Husain (as) and his Ahl ul-Bayt (as) is not a mumin. He is like a lifeless body moving around in this world. He who has not attended the Majlis-e-Imaam Husain (as) has not led a life with Hayaat-e-Taiyebah. He has deviated and wandered away from the Qur'an-Husain-Mumin triangle. Qur'an encompasses the revelation of Allaah, Tanzeel of Rasoolullaah (saws) and the Taweel of Maulaana Ali (as). Imaam Husain (as) takes us to the Ahl ul-Bayt (as) who are the real and only inheritors of the knowledge of Allaah. The life of a Husaini mumin brings for us the beautiful sketch of Hayaat-e-Taiyebah. |
